Three day nation wide bank strike got defered

Since the employees of bank aren’t happy with their current salary and demanding a hike of 15 percent at least, they are off to their work and going for a strike. This has been decided few days back. Also, their demands are not only limited to the hike in their pay slip only but to their working days as well. Instead of working for 6 days a week except for few weekends where they get the second or third saturday as leave, they are now asking for only 5 working days. Since the govt isn’t ready to fulfil their demand, they are going for a strike.

This whole idea has been discussed in the bipartite meeting held between the unions and Indian Bank association. The all India Bank Employees Association also said that the IBA, Indian bank association has agreed to their demands and they have promised to fulfil their all issues.

Due to this, the proposed bank strike of three days is called by various unions from 11th March and it has been deferred following positive developments at the bipartite meeting. The meeting was held in Mumbai. Due to that, now the strike won’t happen and the banks can save them from the big loss they would have suffered due to the sudden strike.
