Due to the lockdown, most of the services, offices are closed. However, because of the essential services, banks are open. Although they have closed some of their branches and reduced the staff too. People are working from home and only essential and important services are available. The working hours has also been reduced. All the private and public bank of India will be closed for 9 days in April, 2020 due to the holidays coming.
Excluding that, the banks will also remain closed on second and fourth Saturday of every month. If you count it in total, the bank will be closed for 15 days in this month.
As per the reserve Bank of India website, there will be holidays due to the festival such as Ram Navmi, Tamil new year, Good friday, Mahavir Jayanti and etc and hence, ATM may also not disburse cash.
